MyPass and Other Assistance for Students 
There are two ways to get your MyPass account up and running.  
  1. Go to myPass on the Alberta Government site (button) start answering the questions and you will be mailed a code to finish the process. 
  2. Stop by the office or talk with your career person and bring in an email address that you plan to use for many years to come; this would be an excellent time to create a professional email address that you might use on your resume or LinkedIn account. Using your non-school email address combined with your student number we can help you activate your myPass account immediately. 
NOTE: You will want a way to remember the username and password. 
Admission Exams for US Schools 
1) The ACT exam is an admission exam used by US colleges and universities to determine the academic abilities of applicants. Canadian students take these exams and use the provided scores to apply for admission, usually students must also present their high school marks.  Warner High School is an ACT testing site. To find test dates, order preparation material and register for exams go to www.act.org. 

On the ACT site try this combination: Click "high school student or parent" then "test dates and deadline" watch the left hand side of your screen and click "US & Canada" then enter Canada and finally Alberta to get a list of every test sitting offered at every test center in Alberta.  Alternately you could substitute any other province's name to get the list for that province. 
2) The SAT exam is a slightly different exam that is also used by US post secondary schools for admission purposes. Their web site is more difficult to navigate and requires that people register before they gather much information.  To register or purchase study material go to sat.org/international
