October 18 - Paramedic Careers

Ken Theodore, a senior Paramedic, offers a great presentation on the work of professional medics.  Learn about certification levels and see equipment that paramedics use daily. 

Ken's presentation begins at 11:00 am in the Career Corner at Myers High School and all Horizon School Division students are invited. 

Oct 23 and 24 - Post-Secondary Fair

Oct 23 - Join us in Vauxhall High School as we host 15 recruiters from Alberta Post-Secondary's. 1 PM start time. 
Oct 24 - Recruiters will set up at WR Myers Gym on Oct 24th at 9 AM to talk with students.

Computer Information Tech 

Whether you are keen on Data Base Management or IT Technician or one  of the many careers in between, this program at Lethbridge Polytechnic helps you get job ready in two years. 

Architecture at U of C 

Architecture is a Masters degree but students can take a related Bachelors degree in Design in City Innovation.  Related programs include Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design. 

Agriculture and Food Production

Saskatchewan Polytechnic offers this program out of Moose Jaw and it includes three paid work placements on farms.  You'll get the foundational, technical, environmental and managerial knowledge you need to succeed in the agriculture industry.  This program accepts Alberta students with Math 30-1, 30-2 or 30-3. ​
