Students - please remember that you can sign up for Work Experience, Registered Apprentice Programming (RAP), and GREEN Certificate at any time during the school year. For Work Experience/RAP, we CANNOT accept work hours for credit that do not take place during the current semester. You are not able to register, and then submit hours from previous months/years outside of the current school semester. Forms are at your school office, and your principal or school secretary can get these forms to you, or speak with Bryan and he can set you up with these forms. 

Dual Credit registration for the spring 2026 semester is now complete. Best of luck to all of our students as they undertake this exciting challenge. Work hard, and you will reap the rewards of this program.

Kin Canada Bursaries
Deadline: Feb 01, 2026                      $1,000
Kin Canada Bursaries was established in 1994 by Kin Canada as a legacy to its Founder, Harold Allin Rogers, O.C., O.B.E. (1899-1994) and is funded by Kinsmen and Kinettes across Canada. The program was established to promote, encourage and sponsor educational programs and activities, by providing financial assistance in the amount of $1000 to successful applicants.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship
Deadline: Feb 01, 2026                      $20,000
The SME Education Foundation offers 60+ scholarships and awards nearly $1 million each year. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. ​Masonic Higher Education Bursary
Deadline - Feb 1st, 2026 Masonic Higher Education Bursary offers 30 awards valued at $5000 for Alberta/NWT - Financial need and acceptance into a program of at least 2 years in length are requirements. The new web page is pretty short on details including the date of this years competition so keep an eye on this one.  Their webpage does have information on the documents and information you will be required to submit.

First Generation Scholars Program at U of Calgary - March 1st
This is a holistic program designed to help from orientation to graduation, and offers a robust suite of support services including mentorship, advising and networking opportunities. It also includes $2,500 in financial support for incoming first-generation students who begin their studies in the fall of 2026. Students entering the U of C for the first time who are the first in their families to attend post-secondary education are the focus of this award First Gen at U of C 

 Skills for Hope Foundation - March 17
Applicants need to be attending a post-secondary school in Canada and they could be preparing for their first year or continuing in a program.  Skills for Hope 

Lethbridge Polytechnic Scholarship Program Opens March 1st

U of L High School Awards - Closes March 15th 
Students who have applied to the U of L and started their Bridge Student Portal can access a number of scholarship applications.    UofLScholarships

Horatio Alger  Vocational and Technical Education Scholarship - ​March 15 Open - Due by June 15
Eligibility is based on several criteria including acceptance into a program that is 3 years of less, be graduating High School by July 1 and be less than 35 years old.  Additionally their is a family income threshold and the 25 awards of $3000 usually go to students who have overcome some adversity in their lives.  This award also lists Canadian Citizenship as a requirement   Horatio Alger Technology
