Canadian Hearing Services proudly offers scholarships to Deaf and hard of hearing students to help break down financial barriers to participation and support the extra costs associated with tuition, residence, accommodations, and educational resources in a post-secondary learning environment.
- Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate students, including mature students attending accredited post-secondary institutions inside or outside of Canada.
- Students who receive funding remain eligible for the same level of funding for up to four consecutive years
- You must be 17 and attending a post-secondary school in fall

With awards worth $5000 and renewable for three years this award is worth taking a look at. The Medavie Scholarship honours Pierre-Yves Julien, the former CEO of Medavie. As a not-for-profit health services organization, Pierre-Yves recognized our commitment to the communities where our employees, and the Canadians we serve, live and work.
- Up to five scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded this year to youth who are living with a mental health challenge of their own or that of a family member and
- are pursuing health-related post-secondary studies at a recognized Canadian university or community college and plan to pursue a career in their health-related field of studies.
- each scholarship will be renewable for up to three additional years, subject to continued eligibility.
